The Catholic Parishes of Seekonk, Our Lady of Mt. Carmel & Our Lady Queen of Martyrs, will host a “Theology on Tap” event on Aug. 8th from 6:30 – 9:00 at Davenports Restaurant at 1925 Pawtucket Ave (Rte 44) in E. Providence, R.I.
All “millennials” ages 18 – 40 are invited to enjoy free food and beverages while engaging in a frank discussion about our Catholic Faith. The theme will be “Is the Catholic Church Still Relevant in the 21st century?” We especially welcome those who have perhaps drifted away from the Faith to come fellowship with us. There is no commitment to join anything – come and enjoy good food while discussing the “Good News” of Jesus Christ.
Father Mark Hession will be on hand to facilitate discussion. Patrick Collins, author of “Fighting for My Life – How I Found God and Beat Lyme Disease” will be sharing his story. Please spread the word and invite your family and friends. (Attendees must be 21 to consume beer and wine.)
Please contact Frank Gibbons at 508-336-5461 or at firstname.lastname@example.org if you plan to attend so we will know how much food to order.
